Q: I want to remove the push-button handle on one side of my lockset, and replace it with a knob that only turns the latch - no locking of the door is wanted. Will your item 94880-363 other numbers M080520 or another number 42049-45986 work? It is called an Inactive and says it is used where only a pull is required. Will this work for also turning the latch which holds the door closed??? If not, what should I order? Thanks

A: The part numbers listed do not match anything in my system. If you'd like the door knob to turn but not lock, you would need to purchase the "passage function" The single dummy and double dummy are surface mounted items and will not turn. Was this answer useful to you?
